An experienced Working Conditions Advisor is required to support initiatives focused on improving quality of work, labor relations, and sustainable employability within a complex operational environment.
The role focuses on strengthening collaboration between employers, employees, social partners, and external stakeholders to support stable labor relations and a well-functioning labor market. The advisor will contribute to policy development, stakeholder engagement, and the facilitation of social dialogue sessions related to working conditions and labor market topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen cooperation between employers, employee representatives, and sector stakeholders regarding labor relations and working conditions
- Support sustainable collaboration between multiple employers and stakeholders on workplace quality initiatives
- Contribute to strategic personnel and labor market policy linked to social agreements
- Organize and facilitate social dialogue sessions with stakeholders from different disciplines and backgrounds
- Coordinate follow-up actions and contribute to the development of strategic social agendas
- Advise on policy themes related to working conditions, labor relations, and social policy
- Build and maintain relationships with trade unions, employer organizations, ministries, supervisory authorities, and sector partners
- Gather and share relevant market and policy insights with internal and external stakeholders
- Draft policy recommendations and conduct research and analysis related to working conditions
- Monitor progress and implementation of agreements and policy initiatives
- Collaborate with internal operational teams and external partners to ensure effective execution of initiatives
Required Experience & Skills
- HBO/University-level thinking and working ability
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in working conditions, HR/social policy, labor relations, or social security
- Knowledge of legislation and developments related to working conditions
- Experience working with employer and/or employee representative organizations
- Experience organizing and facilitating stakeholder dialogue sessions
- Strong policy advisory, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of administrative and political relationships
- Experience with supervisory authorities is considered an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
