Academic Affairs Administration | Office of the Provost
The Advisor to the Provost will serve in a temporary, consultative capacity to support the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) during a period of leadership transition and organizational continuity. Working in close partnership with the provost and the senior academic leadership, this role will provide strategic insight, operational guidance and project leadership to ensure stability, alignment and progress against academic priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide OAA leadership strategic guidance and recommendations to OAA leadership regarding OAA operations and organization
Work with OAA leadership and staff to manage projects related to OAA operations and priorities
Collaborate with OAA leadership and staff to assess workflows, processes and make recommendations
Provide OAA leadership with coaching and counsel on how to perform their roles effectively
Qualifications:
Master’s degree required, (doctorate or terminal degree preferred). Significant experience in higher education administration. Deep understanding of higher education administration. Demonstrated experience navigating periods of transition and change management. Excellent communication skills. High level of judgement, discretion, and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
