About the Role

The Senior Consultant / Advisor, Organisation Design & Implementation contributes to the delivery of large, complex people and workforce transformation initiatives by providing strong analytical, project delivery and subject matter support. These initiatives may include the development of new operating models, organisation design and restructures, location or offshoring strategies, M&A people streams, data-led workforce analysis or broader transformation programs.

The role supports the development of high-quality insights, recommendations and deliverables that help leaders make informed decisions and enable successful implementation. This may include owning defined workstreams, coordinating project activities, conducting analysis, preparing materials, managing risks and dependencies, and partnering with stakeholders across the business and T&C.

The role plays an important part in helping OD&I deliver practical, evidence-based and people-centred outcomes. It requires strong consulting, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and delivery skills, with the ability to work through complexity, manage competing priorities and contribute to successful transformation outcome.

The degree of autonomy, program size / complexity and leadership responsibility will vary depending on the level of the role.

What will your day look like?


As an Advisor - Organisation Design and Implementation, you will be accountable for:

  • Supporting the delivery of Organisation Design & Implementation initiatives across operating model, organisation design, data management, workforce transformation, restructuring and implementation.
  • Owning or contributing to defined project workstreams, ensuring activities are delivered to a high standard and aligned to agreed outcomes.
  • Conducting organisational and workforce analysis to support insights and recommendations, including structure, spans and layers, role design, capability, governance and implementation considerations.
  • Preparing high-quality project deliverables, including analysis, options, recommendations, stakeholder packs, governance materials, implementation plans and progress updates.
  • Supporting the development of evidence-based recommendations that balance business outcomes, customer impacts, workforce experience, financial objectives and enterprise design principles.
  • Working with business leaders, T&C Business Partners, T&C teams and cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, test insights and support delivery.
  • Supporting governance activities, including project planning, status reporting, issue and risk management, dependency tracking and action management.
  • Supporting the translation of organisation design recommendations into practical implementation activities, including role mapping, consultation support, transition planning or implementation tracking.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of OD&I frameworks, tools, methodologies, templates and ways of working

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Experience contributing to people, workforce, organisation design, operating model or business transformation initiatives.
  • Understanding of one or more OD&I core capabilities, such as organisation design, operating model design, restructuring, M&A people streams, workforce transformation, location strategy or data management.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather, interpret and synthesise workforce, organisational and business information.
  • Strong project delivery skills, including planning, coordination, governance support, action tracking, status reporting, risk and issue management, and dependency tracking.
  • Strong consulting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure issues, identify root causes and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality presentations, papers, updates and stakeholder communications.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work through ambiguity and deliver quality outcomes in a complex environment.
  • Ability to think systemically, connecting organisational, operational, customer, financial and people impacts when developing analysis and recommendations
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Experience in supporting the professional development and capability uplift of teams.
