Job Description

Our client, a well-established CSP in Malta, is looking for a Senior Legal Advisor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of clients, provide high-level legal and regulatory advice, and play a key role within the advisory space.

This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €60K.

Please note that only candidates already based in Malta with a valid warrant to practice law in Malta can be considered.

Role & Responsibilities

• Advise regulated and non-regulated clients on legal and regulatory obligations, including company law, commercial law, regulated industries, AML/CFT, IP law, and privacy law

• Take ownership of client matters, ensuring compliance with obligations imposed by local regulatory authorities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal instruments

• Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations affecting your client portfolio

• Identify market and regulatory trends to support the development of the Group’s service offering

• Deliver training to clients and internal staff on systems, procedures, and internal processes

Education, Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a CSP environment

• LL.D and/or M.Adv (or equivalent legal qualification)

• Valid warrant or authorisation to practise law in Malta (non-negotiable)

• Fluency in English at C2/native level, written and spoken

• Strong knowledge of laws relating to CSPs, trusts and trustees, MGA, and MFSA frameworks

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and industries

• Highly organised, self-driven, and able to work independently
