Why Whitehaven Coal?
Whitehaven Coal is committed to increasing the representation of women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the workplace. We strive for an inclusive workplace that engages people from diverse backgrounds and welcomes diversity of gender, culture and experience.

Purposeful. Resourceful. It’s who we are.
For over 25 years now, we’ve been on a mission to help the world progress.
The resources we produce are powering economies, building industries and supporting local communities.
Our coal is sought-after for offering some of the lowest carbon emissions per tonne in the seaborne trade. It’s a critical resource the world needs to grow and thrive.
The strong ongoing demand for our products, particularly among developed and emerging economies across Asia, means we will continue to provide Australia with the export income it needs for national growth and prosperity.
