TikTok's SMB team aims to help businesses, agencies and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, or perhaps be discovered! From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have tailored tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small. TikTok is looking for a dynamic and strategic Account Management Team Lead to join our SMB Advertising Sales team. This role is directly responsible for building relationships and helping clients drive business results on TikTok through consultation, education, and support. Ideal candidates will combine an exceptional ability to lead and grow a team of sales professionals, acts as a consultative sales player/coach, and deliver against sales quota. TikTok follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office a minimum of 3 days a week, or as directed by the manager/department/office.
Responsibilities:
- Guide team of Account Managers on consultative, client-centric selling and demonstrate strong understanding of marketing KPIs, TikTok product expertise/capabilities and measurement
- Develop and coach Account Managers in setting long and short-term goals, milestones, and tracking performance towards revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with our leadership team to establish a sales strategy and execution plan to achieve team goals.
- Partner with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop, identify, and implement effective client advertising strategies.
- Serve as an external product expert, educating key clients and agencies on TikTok ad solutions and best practices
- Develop strategies to retain clients, reduce churn, and enhance platform dependency.
- Collaborate across teams to exchange insights and drive product enhancements.
