Job Title: Advanced Specialist, Sales – Enterprise Learning and Skills

As an Advanced Specialist, Sales – Enterprise Learning and Skills (ELS), you will play a pivotal role in driving growth across the vocational education and training market in Taiwan. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on expanding market presence, building strategic partnerships, and delivering strong commercial outcomes across public and private sector customers.

You’ll wake up excited to shape growth strategies, engage with senior stakeholders, and bring industry‑relevant learning solutions to market. In your first six months, your impact will be visible through a clear sales strategy, strengthened institutional and industry relationships, and progress against revenue and pipeline targets. The Role

This role exists to lead sales growth and market development for Pearson’s Enterprise Learning & Skills portfolio within Taiwan and selected additional markets. As part of the ELS Vocational Qualifications Sales team, you’ll work closely with internal colleagues to align solutions with customer needs while providing expert guidance to partners and clients.

What You’ll Own

Success in this role is defined by outcomes, ownership, and leadership:

  • Sales strategy & growth Lead annual and long‑range planning for your territory, developing and executing sales strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth in the vocational education market.
  • Market development Analyse market trends, regulatory environments, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and shape go‑to‑market approaches.
  • Stakeholder & partnership management Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including education providers, government bodies, regulators, and industry partners.
  • Commercial execution Lead negotiations, prepare and present tailored proposals, and close deals with education institutions and enterprise customers.
  • Forecasting & performance management Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and commercial performance reporting through CRM and internal systems.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration Partner with internal teams to ensure product alignment, effective delivery, and strong customer outcomes.
  • Leadership & culture Act as a role model for high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the wider sales community.

You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy while remaining closely connected to regional and global objectives.

About You

You bring strong commercial capability, sector knowledge, and a growth mindset aligned to Pearson’s essential behaviours.

  • You bring proven experience in sales, ideally within education, vocational training, or skills‑based learning.
  • You have a strong understanding of vocational education and training systems and how they align to workforce and industry needs.
  • You have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex or developing markets.
  • You communicate confidently and build credibility with senior stakeholders across institutions, government, and industry.
  • You’re commercially minded, analytical, and disciplined in managing pipeline, forecasts, and performance.
  • You work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a regional, matrixed environment.
  • You’re comfortable using CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • You have a good command of both Chinese and English
  • You’re open to travel as required across your territory.
