Job Title: Advanced Specialist, Sales, English Language Learning

As an Advanced Specialist, Sales, English Language Learning, you will play a key role in accelerating growth for Pearson Test of English (PTE) across Greater China. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑moving, digitally driven environment—turning data, platforms, and partnerships into meaningful commercial outcomes.

You’ll wake up excited to experiment, optimise, and scale digital sales channels that connect with Gen Z learners. In your first six months, your impact will be visible through stronger digital platform performance, increased lead conversion, and progress against sales targets. The Role

This role exists to drive PTE sales growth through digital channels and cross‑functional collaboration. Working within the Sales team and alongside Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Sales Operations, you’ll translate insights into action—helping Pearson strengthen its reach and relevance with the next generation of learners.

Locations for this role include Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai

What You’ll Own

Success in this role is defined by outcomes and ownership:

  • Digital sales growth Deliver assigned sales targets for PTE in Greater China by optimising digital sales and engagement channels.
  • Platform partnerships & activation Build and strengthen partnerships with Gen Z‑focused platforms (e.g. RED, WeChat, TikTok, Bilibili) to expand reach and market share.
  • Channel management & optimisation Own day‑to‑day management of digital platform accounts, including content creation, audience engagement, and private messaging.
  • Insight‑led performance Work closely with Sales Operations to analyse channel performance, test improvements, and continuously optimise results.
  • Stakeholder collaboration Partner with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. international university representatives, client relations teams) to ensure smooth execution of digital campaigns.

You’ll operate with a strong sense of ownership while collaborating closely across teams to deliver results at pace.

About You

You bring a commercially minded, digital‑first approach and thrive in fast‑moving environments.

  • You bring a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with 3+ years of experience in e‑commerce, digital advertising, MCN, or related fields.
  • You’re data‑driven and comfortable turning insights into practical commercial actions.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, building strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset—proactive, resilient, and able to deliver results under pressure.
  • You’re a motivated team player who enjoys collaborating across functions.
  • You have excellent English language skills; Cantonese is preferred.
