Location: Bucharest, Sibiu, Cluj, Brasov, Timisoara and Iasi.

Primary Functions and Tasks:

• Act as the execution and implementation arm of the Cloud Architect, translating architectural decisions into practical, scalable solutions across multiple product teams, while providing hands-on guidance and troubleshooting expertise.

• Drive the operationalization, standardization, and continuous improvement of cloud maturity initiatives, covering Azure infrastructure, platform services, and deployment processes.

• Deploy, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot workloads running on Azure infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows to support efficient and repeatable cloud operations.

• Actively participate in architectural design and review sessions, providing implementation-focused feedback and proposing improvements based on operational insights.

• Research, prototype, and validate operational enhancements, tooling, and practices to improve platform stability, scalability, and developer experience.

We are looking for: 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a recent or current Cloud Engineer role, working with Microsoft Azure in production environments
  AZ-104 certification is mandatory

• Strong practical experience with core Azure services, including (but not limited to):
  Networking, App Services, Storage, Databases, DNS, Compute services, Azure Monitoring/KQL, and containerization (AKS preferred).

• Proven experience with Azure identity and security concepts, services, and tooling.

• Solid hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including planning, design, and troubleshooting; Azure Bicep is preferred.

• Good scripting skills using PowerShell and/or Bash, along with effective use of Azure CLI tools.

• Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge discussions between infrastructure and product teams

• Analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems

• Proactive, ownership-driven attitude, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and problem identification

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with Azure governance frameworks and advanced identity and security management practices

• Experience using AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Background or familiarity with software development, particularly for proof-of-concept or research activities
