Join the EnerMech Team at the AMPOL Refinery

EnerMech is seeking experienced Advanced Scaffolders and Scaffolding Leading Hands to support upcoming works on the AMPOL Refinery Project in Lytton, Queensland.

We are looking for safety-focused, reliable and highly skilled professionals who are ready to contribute to a major industrial project and become part of a high-performing team.

Please note: These roles are intended for candidates who reside within approximately 30km of Lytton, QLD, as no FIFO, DIDO, accommodation or travel assistance will be provided.

Positions Available

Advanced Scaffolders

Responsibilities include:

  • Erecting, modifying and dismantling a variety of scaffold systems
  • Working safely within a live industrial environment
  • Adhering to site safety procedures and project requirements
  • Supporting shutdown and maintenance activities

Scaffolding Leading Hands

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading scaffold crews and coordinating daily work activities
  • Ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards
  • Mentoring and supporting scaffold team members
  • Liaising with supervisors, planners and project stakeholders

Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced Scaffolding Licence
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Current Working at Heights certification
  • Current Confined Space certification (highly regarded)
  • Previous experience in heavy industrial, oil & gas, refinery, mining or petrochemical environments
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to pass site medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Australian working rights

Additional Requirements for Leading Hands

  • Proven supervisory or leading hand experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage crews and meet project schedules
