Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
Outpatient neurology (with minimal call and light rounding)
Comprehensive Neuroscience Center located in West Akron, OH
Large referring base with backing through the Optum Centers of Excellence network
Full-Time (1.0 FTE) working 5 days per week (40 hours)
Growth, Leadership, and Teaching opportunities when timing aligns
Practice would consist of 6-8 clinicians (Physicians and Advanced Practitioners)
Ancillary services include Sleep, Neuro Diagnostics, Infusion, and Neuro Psych
Team-based approach to best patient outcomes through value-based care
Orders lab studies and imaging when indicated. Identifies differential diagnosis and assesses severity of patient's illness and establishes need/time for patient evaluation

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing from an accredited university or program
Current, state license to practice in Ohio, or ability to obtain prior to start
Certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC/AANP, or ability to obtain
DEA license for Ohio, or willing to obtain prior to start
BLS certification (minimally) required
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in nursing care or relevant medical care
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 1-3 + years of experience as an Advanced Practitioner within Neurology
Experience working within a team-based model of care (collaborative)
Fluency and adaptability in EMR systems & technology
Experience in Neuro, Sleep Medicine, and/or Movement Disorders, etc.
Comfortability making decisions, creating care plans, and designating responsibilities
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 - $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
