
St. Mary’s Medical Center is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the St. Mary's Medical Management Urgent Care The individual in the role will promote excellence in patient care by advancing the quality and scope of nursing practice through clinical practice, education, consultation, research, and administrative roles in programs.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant program and holds a current license in the State of West Virginia. Attains and maintains limited prescriptive privileges according to the West Virginia Code.
EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) to Three (3) years’ experience practicing as a registered professional nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant required. Emergency Room or Urgent Care experience preferred.
SKILLS:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff and other health care providers. Ability to use equipment needed for a thorough physician examination. Behaviors which reflect understanding, emotional stability, patience, tact and consideration for individual difference.
BLS and ACLS required.
