Essential Functions
Education/Training MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing required or Graduate of accredited physician assistant program
Licensure/Certification Florida ARNP license or Physician Assistant licensure in the state of Florida
Licensure applicants are required to have national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board or nationally certified by the NCCPA for Physician Assistants. Maintains current BLS certification.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Department (ED) setting, at least 2 years must be as an APP in an urgent care setting
Must be competent in treating children aged 6 months and older and working independently
