Lower Lights Health is a faith-based, 501 (c)(3) nonprofit community health center that exists to minister the love of Christ as a full service medical home, focused on quality whole person wellness.
A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), LLH’s vision is to transform the overall health of Central Ohio, serving one individual and family at a time. All services – Primary Care, Women's Health/OB, Specialty Care, Behavioral Health, Substance Use Disorder Treatment, Dental, Vision, Nutrition, Pharmacy, Specialty Pharmacy, and for those who wish, Spiritual Care -- are available to all who need it regardless of the ability to pay. Because we believe that we are made up of three parts – body, mind, and soul – we also offer spiritual care for those who desire it.
LLH opened in 2002 in response to a need for access to affordable health care in Franklinton, and out of God’s calling given as a teenager to Dr. Dana Vallangeon. Driven by our core values, LLCHC continues to meet the ever-growing needs of under served communities. Today, the practice maintains seven locations, employs 170 medical professionals and staff, and cares for 15,000 patients across Central Ohio each year.
