Job Description

When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.”

About this role:

This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join our pediatric surgery and trauma program at Primary Children's Hospital. Primary Children’s Hospital is a full-service level 1 pediatric trauma center certified by the American College of Surgeons and serves six Intermountain states. The General Surgery/Trauma system emphasizes the delivery of expert care, research, education and prevention. OR assisting opportunities are generally for emergent cases only, during night and weekend shifts, at the Salt Lake campus while regular opportunities are available at our Lehi campus.

Full time, the APP will work approximately 40 hours per week. Schedule will include six 12-hour shifts (from 0600-1800. 0830-2030, 1800-0600) per biweekly pay period, with the additional eight hours available for required training, meetings, documentation, etc. We provide 24/7 team coverage, which does require weekends, nights and holidays shifts to be rotated between team members.
