Job Description

As an Advanced PMO Specialist - Sourcing & Procurement Excellence (2 Years Fixed Term) at INNIO you will be responsible for supporting sourcing operations through the execution and coordination of procurement process improvement initiatives and reporting activities. This role plays an important part in ensuring smooth day-to-day sourcing operations, maintaining process discipline, supporting project and governance activities, and driving data accuracy and transparency across the function. Working closely with the Procurement Process Excellence Team Leader and cross-functional stakeholders, the Advanced PMO Specialist - Sourcing contributes to operational excellence, process standardization, and effective execution of sourcing priorities.

Your Responsibilities:

  • PMO Support: Support the planning, coordination, and tracking of sourcing-related projects, initiatives, and operational priorities to ensure timely execution and visibility of progress.
  • Process Coordination: Assist in maintaining and improving sourcing processes, standards, and documentation to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare, maintain, and analyze regular reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to sourcing operations, transactional performance, quoting activities, and process effectiveness.
  • Data Quality: Support the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of sourcing-related master data and operational data used for reporting and decision-making.
  • Governance Support: Coordinate meetings, action tracking, status updates, and follow-up activities for sourcing operations and process excellence initiatives.
  • Tool Support: Support the effective use and continuous improvement of procurement and sourcing tools such as Oracle, OIG, SupplyOn, Sourcing Sharepoint, and Condeco, including user support and process alignment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation, and support the implementation of improvement actions and best practices.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sourcing, finance, supply chain, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication across activities.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain process documentation, work instructions, and supporting materials in line with internal quality standards and evolving business needs.
  • Issue Resolution: Support the investigation and resolution of operational issues, reporting discrepancies, process gaps, and escalations within the sourcing function.
  • Training Support: Assist in onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing for team members and stakeholders related to sourcing processes, tools, and reporting requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform checks and validations on reports, process outputs, and documentation to ensure high quality, reliability, and compliance.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fluent communication in German and English language (C1 verbal and written), additional languages are a plus
  • Relevant experience in procurement, sourcing operations, PMO, process excellence, or supply chain support roles with special attention to the Procure-To-Pay and the Source-To-Pay processes.
  • Good understanding of sourcing and procurement processes, tools, and operational workflows.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in reporting, KPI tracking, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with reporting and visualization tools, especially Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and platforms such as SupplyOn, Oracle, or similar ERP and sourcing tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Ability to support process improvement initiatives and work in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Ethical and compliance mindset, ensuring all activities are performed in line with company policies and standards.
