As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for the design, development and analysis of static gas turbine engine components. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing strength, fatigue, containment, heat transfer, and various other types of stress analyses. Other responsibilities include test support, communicating with Project engineering teams, resource and manpower planning, conduction of design reviews, presentations to internal and external customers, ensuring proper documentation of work performed and engaging in department process improvement initiatives.
The Growth Engine Structures Group within the Component Design & Analysis (CDA) directorate is responsible for the design, development and analysis of static gas turbine engine components.
You will report directly to our Mechanical Design Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Phoenix, AZ on a Hybrid work schedule.
