Job Functions / Responsibilities

Lead and participate in multiple simultaneous engineering efforts for new product development projects:

  • Prototype and design mechanical or process solutions to resolve novel manufacturing issues related to new product launch
  • Design and document manufacturing processes for new product: SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, layout studies, cycle time analyses, financial analyses
  • Review new product design concepts, 3D models, and drawings for manufacturability
  • Implement process changes on time and in budget for new product launch

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • Actively Enrolled in a B.S. Degree in Engineering (Prefer Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing)
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Ability to work within deadlines to achieve goals

Desired

  • Experience with 3D CAD Software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products
  • Previous internship or applicable experience in an engineering or automotive opportunity
