The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME) – Conrodis responsible forthe development, optimization, and industrialization of manufacturing processes for connecting rod (conrod) components. This role supports the ramp-up of machining operations in Waukesha, ensuring robust, cost-effective, and high-quality production aligned with INNIO standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop andoptimizemachining processes for conrod manufacturing (e.g., milling, drilling, honing, finishing)
  • Define andmaintainmanufacturing BOMs, routings, and work instructions, including standard times
  • Support production ramp-up, including line setup, process validation, and troubleshooting
  • Drive continuous improvement of quality, cycle time, and cost using Lean and Six Sigma principles
  • Analyze tooling, consumables, and machining parameters to improve process capability and reduce cost
  • Collaborate with Engineering/Design to ensure manufacturability of conrod components
  • Lead or support industrialization activities, including fixture design and equipment specification
  • Work cross-functionally with global teams (e.g., Jenbach) to transfer and standardize processes
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance

What you’ll have:

  • Bachelor degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience inmachining or production engineering, ideally with precision components (e.g., engine parts, rods,cranktrain)
  • Experience with assembly and/or machining of heavy industrial equipment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling concepts
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and manufacturing data structures (BOMs,routings)Abilityto travelto Austriaup to 10% of time, including for a long-term training assignment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Solid project management and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally (primarily to Jenbach, Austria) to support training, knowledge transfer, and production rampup, including for extended training periods
