Job Description

NYU Langone Health is seeking an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in Brooklyn. This position will support the continued growth of our Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Program—one of the largest in the Northeast with nationally recognized outcomes. The program has expanded significantly across key areas including cardiac sarcoidosis, amyloidosis, and advanced transplant care.

· Clinical care of patients with advanced heart failure

· Management of patients pre- and post-heart transplant

· Oversight and management of acute mechanical circulatory support devices and LVADs

· Active participation in research and teaching within an academic environment

Qualifications

· MD or equivalent degree

· Board Certified or Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology

· Experience or fellowship training in mechanical support, LVADs, and transplant care

· Proficiency in managing critically ill cardiac patients

· Eligibility for a New York State medical license

Salary Range: $350,000 – $450,000, commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
