Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Consultant – Advanced General Dentistry (AEGD)

Location: Altaif, Saudi Arabia
Department: Dental

Opportunity:

An excellent opportunity to join one of Saudi Arabias leading hospitals as an Assistant Consultant in Advanced General Dentistry This role offers the chance to deliver comprehensive dental care, supervise trainees, and contribute to teaching and research in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose oral diseases and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Promote oral health and disease prevention.
  • Interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; administer anesthetics safely.
  • Perform advanced dental procedures including restorations, reshaping/reconstruction, scaling and root planning, uncomplicated extractions, and root canal treatments.
  • Provide consultations and collaborate across dental disciplines.
  • Participate in academic teaching, research projects, and training programs.
  • Contribute to departmental committees, administrative functions, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • PhD or Board Certification in AEGD / Advanced General Dentistry or related discipline (essential).
  • Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery or equivalent from an accredited institution (essential).
  • Valid registration as Specialist with SCFHS.
  • Positive professional references.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English (essential).
  • Additional proficiency in Arabic preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong expertise in advanced dental procedures.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Computer proficiency (Level III preferred).
