About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior LabVIEW Developer with strong expertise in PXI-based test systems, real-time data acquisition, and scalable system architecture design The role involves designing and building complex, hardware-integrated software systems that enable high-performance data capture, visualization, storage, and replay for advanced debugging and analysis use cases.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in real-time systems, multi-source synchronization, and complex system debugging, with exposure to cross-language integration and automotive/industrial toolchains.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance PXI-based test and measurement systems using NI LabVIEW
  • Architect and implement scalable software frameworks for:
    • Real-time data streaming
    • Multi-source data synchronization
    • High-throughput visualization and persistent storage
    • Data logging and replay for validation and debugging
  • Integrate LabVIEW applications with hardware instruments and communication interfaces
  • Develop interfaces and integrations with C++ and Python components for data processing and system extension
  • Work on network-based communication protocols for data acquisition and control
  • Utilize Vector CANoe for Ethernet/network trace analysis, simulation, and debugging (where applicable)
  • Perform complex system debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization
  • Address timing, synchronization, latency, and data integrity challenges across distributed systems
  • Collaborate closely with system architects, hardware teams, and validation engineers

What You Need to Be Successful

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in NI LabVIEW development
  • Strong experience with PXI-based data acquisition systems, including high-speed and real-time use cases
  • Solid understanding of scalable and modular software architecture design
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Real-time data streaming systems
    • Multi-source synchronization and timing control
    • Data visualization, logging, storage, and replay mechanisms
  • Hands-on experience with hardware instrumentation and system-level integration
  • Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as:
    • TCP/IP
    • Ethernet
    • ProtoBuf or similar serialization frameworks
  • Excellent debugging skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex system-level issues

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Experience with C++ and Python for system integration and data processing
  • Exposure to Vector CANoe for Ethernet/network trace analysis, simulation, and debugging
  • Experience working in automotive, industrial automation, or test & measurement domains
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and deterministic systems
  • Experience in performance tuning, resource optimization, and long-running system stability
  • Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development environments
