Tasks

• In this role, you will work closely with global development teams and external partners to identify, analyze, and resolve system issues while ensuring ADAS functions meet customer expectations and local driving requirements in the Korean market.

Market Function Owner

• Take ownership of specific ADAS functions for the Korean market.
• Review function specifications and provide localization feedback based on Korean driving environments and customer expectations.
• Perform focused testing and evaluation of assigned ADAS software functions.
• Report, track, and support resolution of function-related issues in collaboration with global development teams.
• Prepare Release Notes to ensure market readiness and successful deployment in the Korean market.

ADAS Testing & Validation

• Perform testing and evaluation of ADAS functions and systems in Korea under various driving and environmental conditions.
• Plan and execute test activities based on Korean road environments, traffic situations, and local driving behaviors.
• Identify, reproduce, analyze, and document system issues and performance gaps.
• Support test vehicle setup and assist in diagnosing and resolving test vehicle-related issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and evaluation criteria.

Issue Management & Global Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with development teams, partners, and global stakeholders across multiple countries to support issue resolution and system improvements.
• Provide technical feedback and insights regarding Korean customer expectations and market-specific requirements.

Release, Strategy & Market Benchmarking

• Prepare and submit release recommendations aligned with project timelines and milestones.
• Monitor and benchmark other OEMs and autonomous driving companies in the Korean market.

Issue Management & Global Collaboration

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field (master’s degree preferred).

Professional Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in ADAS functions (e.g., ACC, Lane Keeping, Parking Assist), automated driving systems, and vehicle-level validation activities.
• Experience in series development and mass-production projects for ADAS or automotive software systems.
• Good understanding of vehicle systems, sensors (camera, radar), vehicle networks, and automotive software development and validation processes.
• Experience in issue management, root cause analysis, defect tracking, and cross-functional technical collaboration.
• Knowledge of automotive testing and analysis tools (e.g., CANoe, Vector tools, data logging systems) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Korean road regulations, KNCAP, and local vehicle certification/testing requirements is preferred.
