Enterprise Technology plays a critical part in shaping the future of mobility. If you're looking for the chance to leverage advanced technology to redefine the transportation landscape, enhance the customer experience and improve people's lives, this is the opportunity for you. Join us and challenge your IT expertise and analytical skills to help create vehicles that are as smart as you are.

The Advanced Cybersecurity Engineer - Automotive is responsible for the end-to-end security of vehicle platforms. You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME), guiding cross-functional teams (Software, Hardware, and Systems Engineering) to integrate security into every stage of the Product Development Lifecycle (V-Model).

What you'll do...

  • Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA): Lead and perform TARA for vehicle components and systems (e.g., ADAS, Infotainment, Powertrain, Connectivity) in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434.
  • Security Architecture Design: Define and implement robust security controls, including Secure Boot, Secure Onboard Communication (SecOC), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), and encrypted Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all vehicle systems meet global regulatory requirements such as UN R155 and UN R156. Maintain alignment with industry best practices (NIST, SAE).
  • Vulnerability Management: Oversee penetration testing and vulnerability scanning activities. Analyze results to prioritize fixes and provide technical guidance for remediation.
  • Incident Response: Lead the technical response to identified security incidents or newly discovered zero-day vulnerabilities affecting the fleet.
  • Supplier Management: Evaluate the cybersecurity posture of Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, ensuring their components meet the company's rigorous security requirements.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of "Security by Design."

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field OR a combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years specifically focused on automotive or embedded systems.
    • Technical Proficiency:
      • Deep understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet/SOME/IP, LIN, FlexRay).
      • Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and Trusted Execution Environments (TEE).
      • Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC) and Key Management Systems (KMS).
      • Familiarity with embedded RTOS (e.g., QNX, Green Hills, Adaptive AUTOSAR) and Linux security.
    • Standards Knowledge:
      • ISO/SAE 21434
      • WP.29 UN R155/R156
      • ISO 14229-1

Even better, you may have...

  • A Master's degree is preferred.
