Your new role

As an Advanced Business Analyst - Supply Chain, you'll serve as the primary expert on planning systems, acting as the critical link between technical functionality and practical business application. You'll empower our regional planning teams while collaborating with global specialists to drive continuous improvement in how we plan and deliver medicines to patients worldwide.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the regional expert for planning systems architecture, GUI, and functionality, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of system capabilities and integration points
  • Providing advanced technical guidance and support to Super Users and End Users, creating specialized training programs and troubleshooting complex system issues
  • Ensuring seamless integration between system functionalities and business processes by translating requirements into actionable system recommendations
  • Collaborating with global teams on system-related developments, representing regional interests and coordinating implementation of enhancements
  • Driving knowledge management and capability building through comprehensive documentation, training materials, and targeted skill development initiatives
  • Supporting change management for system implementations, including impact assessments and adoption monitoring
  • Leading continuous improvement projects to enhance system efficiency based on user feedback and performance data

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. The supply chain team provides robust and reliable planning in close cooperation across our global organisation. Using data and technology, we establish operations across geographies and develop market insights to support strategic supply chain decisions. Our team also manages operations and master data management, acting as a partner to enable logistics and distribution with a key focus on ensuring access to our products for patients worldwide.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an experienced supply chain professional who combines deep system expertise with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions. You'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (Advanced degree or professional certifications such as APICS, CSCP, or system-specific certifications preferred)
  • 8+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years in supply chain planning roles
  • Must have 3+ years of hands-on OMP usage experience, demonstrating deep familiarity with the platform
  • 3+ years of direct experience with planning systems, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Strong ability to bridge technical and business perspectives, translating complex system functionality into practical business applications
  • Excellent training and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build capability across diverse teams
  • Proven track record in change management and driving user adoption of new systems and processes
