Your new role

As an Advanced Business Analyst I - OMP , you'll be the go-to specialist for our advanced planning solutions, working with our Supply Chain Optimization tool, OMP. This is a role where your technical expertise directly impacts our ability to plan, produce, and deliver medicines to millions of patients globally.

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

  • Key member of the maintenance & support of our enterprise-wide Planning Systems with a focus on OMP and SAP integration
  • Managing change, release, and incident support while ensuring smooth configuration management and test coordination
  • Driving simplification initiatives by analyzing and implementing improvements across planning processes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across EIT & Line of Business organizations, convincing diverse audiences to adopt new concepts and approaches
  • Mentoring and coaching colleagues within your area of speciality, setting direction for cross-functional teams
  • Working closely with external vendors, particularly OMP, managing relationships across multiple geographies and time zones
  • Participating in agile team events and driving incremental innovation to support continuous improvement

Within Enterprise IT & Quality, you'll join LIMS, Planning & Ecosystems – the unit responsible for Enterprise-wide Laboratory, Planning and related IT systems at Novo Nordisk. Our systems are used on a global scale across business areas and are critical to the execution of key business processes. Your role will be central to ensuring these mission-critical systems operate seamlessly.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an experienced OMP specialist who thrives in a global, cross-functional environment. You'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant technological and domain experience
  • 9-10 years of experience with IT project work, or 7-9 years covering specification, design, development, operations and maintenance of IT solutions
  • Hands-on experience with OMP and SAP, preferably across cross-geographical, large-scale projects
  • Experience across planning processes including supply planning, capacity planning and detailed scheduling
  • Practical knowledge of key OMP functionalities, configuration, testing, data handling and integration between OMP & SAP
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills in a global setup, with the ability to present complex solutions to different management layers
  • Proactive, finisher personality with the ability to work independently while fostering team spirit and knowledge sharing
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) with cross-cultural awareness and understanding
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience and familiarity with Agile, DevOps and validation/regulatory requirements is desirable
