
Job Title: Advanced Associate, Production Planner
About the role: We are currently looking for a proactive and resilient Advanced Associate, Production Planner to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our operations, you will manage and coordinate test inspections. Key responsibilities include supporting the Test Inspections Manager with the operational running of UK and international test inspections and ensure the successful delivery of the annual test inspections programme.
Our team: PQS (Pearson Qualification Services). The Qualifications Processing directorate consists of several areas, which work together to deliver General and Vocational Qualification operations throughout the year. This operation supports the delivery of accurate results to every candidate in each examination session.
The Test Inspections team manage a test inspections programme for Pearson qualifications with external assessments to:
Ensure centre compliance with regulatory (Ofqual/SQA/JCQ) and Pearson requirements.
Uphold the quality and integrity of Pearson qualifications and exams.
Ensure learners are at the heart of every decision we make.
As a Advanced Associate, Production Planner, you’ll be responsible for:
Coordinate with centres for necessary information on test inspections
Supporting the Test Inspections Manager in training and monitoring inspectors
Prepare and organize data using spreadsheets for efficient inspection completion
Manage timely allocations of inspectors according to KPIs and SLAs
Communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders and senior managers
Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and provide resolutions
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Bachelor’s Degree, 5 GCSEs at A-C, including Mathematics and English, or equivalent.
Experience in administration, data management, and spreadsheet analysis
Good communication skills (written and verbal),
Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks
Adept in professional engagements with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers
