Job Title: Advanced Associate, Portfolio Management – Assessment & Qualifications

As an Advanced Associate, Portfolio Management – Assessment & Qualifications, you will support the growth of Pearson’s School Qualifications International business through go-to-market activities across South East Asia, with a focus on Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam. This role will deliver sales enablement and global campaigns across the region.

You’ll wake up excited to turn strategy into action - planning and delivering impactful go-to-market campaigns, supporting sales teams, and analysing performance to continuously improve results. In your first six months, your impact will be most visible through well-executed activities, strong event delivery, and clear, insight-led reporting. What makes this role different is the exposure to both regional sales and global portfolio management teams within a purpose-driven learning organisation.

The Role

This role exists to deliver go-to-market initiatives while supporting regional sales teams across South East Asia. Reporting into the global portfolio management team, you’ll collaborate closely with regional sales stakeholders to ensure campaigns, events, and sales tools are effective, on-brand, and commercially impactful.

What You’ll Own

Success in this role is defined by outcomes and ownership:

  • Campaign execution & localisation Roll out global go-to-market campaigns across your region, adapting content and channels to maximise local relevance and impact.
  • Sales enablement & events Plan and deliver sales support initiatives and customer events, ensuring smooth logistics and strong on-the-ground execution.
  • Performance & insights Track campaign and channel performance against KPIs, manage budgets, and share clear insights through regular reporting.

You’ll also contribute to competitor and market analysis, manage local suppliers, and support ongoing global and regional go-to-market initiatives.

About You

You bring early-career sales and go-to-market experience, strong organisation skills, and a collaborative mindset aligned to Pearson’s essential behaviours.

  • You bring 1–2 years of sales support, portfolio management or marketing experience and a degree in marketing or a related field.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, with strong written copy and presentation skills.
  • You thrive when juggling multiple projects, planning effectively, and delivering to deadlines.
  • You’re a proactive team player who builds strong relationships across regions and cultures.
  • You’re commercially minded, comfortable analysing data, and confident using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with sales and marketing technology or webinar tools (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Zoom) is an advantage.

What You’ll Get

This is an opportunity to grow your go-to-market career in a regional, international environment.

  • Hands-on experience delivering multi-channel go-to-market campaigns across diverse markets.
  • Close collaboration with global portfolio management and regional sales teams.
  • Exposure to international education and assessment portfolios.
  • Flexible, hybrid working practices where applicable, with opportunities for regional travel.
  • Ongoing learning and development within Pearson’s global learning ecosystem.
