Sr. Talent Experience Coordinator
The Sr. Talent Experience Coordinator plays a key role in delivering a seamless, candidate-first experience for Pearson candidates, Talent Partners, Hiring Managers, and internal stakeholders. In a fast-paced, high-volume environment, this individual brings strong judgment, responsiveness, and a partnership mindset to every interaction—helping coordinate interviews, support offers and onboarding, maintain data accuracy, and strengthen recruiting operations. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by creating meaningful experiences, building strong relationships across teams and time zones, and identifying opportunities to improve processes in thoughtful and efficient ways. The Sr. Talent Experience Coordinator also brings a continuous improvement mindset, leveraging current technology and AI capabilities where appropriate to enhance efficiency, elevate the candidate experience, and support business outcomes. As a visible ambassador of Pearson’s values, this individual leads with collaboration, accountability, and care, while helping the team deliver consistent, high-quality results. The Sr. Talent Experience Coordinator reports to the Talent Experience Team Lead.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver a best-in-class experience for every candidate throughout the interview journey, helping build confidence and ease at every stage
- Create meaningful interactions that leave candidates with a positive and lasting impression of Pearson
- Partner closely with candidates, hiring managers, and Talent Partners to coordinate interviews, prepare offers or contracts, and support a seamless onboarding experience
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with team members, hiring managers, and partners across functions and time zones
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and help drive thoughtful, efficient enhancements
- Apply best practices in Pearson’s ATS and help ensure recruiting data remains accurate, complete, and up to date
- Contribute to team priorities and special projects that strengthen recruiting operations and the overall talent experience
Additional Responsibilities:
- Serve as a mentor to the rest of the team through leading by example, sharing best practices, and acting as an excellent resource
- Assist team members with questions
- Provide insight and feedback to suggest process improvements, and oversee their implementation
- Take a lead role in helping the team to reach OKR’s and Performance Indicators
- Consistently provide a great candidate experience in each interaction
- Act as thought partner to Talent Partners and Hiring Managers, suggesting and implementing creative solutions to challenges that impact the candidate experience
What You’ll Need:
- Have at least 2 years of experience in global recruitment, onboarding, or HR generalist roles
- Have exposure to EMEA processes (preferred)
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and clear communication
- Is confident in managing and enhancing stakeholder experience
- Show accountability, ownership, and follow‑through
- Have experience with or exposure to automation initiatives (as SME or tester)
- Are experience‑focused, solution‑oriented, and proactive
- Bring a positive, resilient, and “can‑do” mindset
- Have experience mentoring or supporting team membersStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and deliver a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Highly organized, proactive, and efficient, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing competing priorities with sound judgment and adaptability
- Demonstrated experience supporting high-volume, complex recruiting coordination with accuracy, responsiveness, and a candidate-first mindset
- Ideally, this individual is already succeeding in a similar role, preferably within an organization that leverages AI to strengthen recruiting operations and elevate the candidate experience
- Consistent track record of strong performance, accountability, and follow-through
- Advanced stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering directly with hiring teams and building strong, credible relationships across functions and levels
- Agile and quick to learn, with the ability to absorb new information, adapt to change, and apply new tools or processes effectively
- Strong organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively across multiple requests
- Confidence learning new technologies quickly and sharing that knowledge with others; experience in an AI-enabled environment that enhances recruiting operations and candidate experience is strongly preferred
- Experience serving as a mentor, guide, or subject matter expert, with a willingness to support team learning and share best practices
