Job Description

The Advanced Associate Content Producer supports the creation and delivery of high-quality digital and print courseware, live training materials, and related learning assets. Individuals in this role work increasingly independently on defined tasks, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to production standards. They actively support a growing courseware business by keeping projects moving, proactively addressing issues, reconciling information across multiple sources, and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners. Strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills, and technical proficiency are essential.

SCOPE AND IMPACT OF JOB

  • Support multiple concurrent projects, ensuring smooth workflow across editorial, online learning, and production groups.
  • Contribute directly to the accuracy and completeness of courseware materials.
  • Drive project momentum through proactive communication, effective coordination, and timely follow-through.
  • Help identify risks and escalate issues early to keep schedules on track.
  • Maintain clear documentation, structured records, and consistent data quality across systems.

Dollar responsibilities: Assist with monitoring project expenditures and identifying potential overages early; support producers and managers in making informed decisions about budget-impacting activities.

Supervisory responsibilities: No direct supervisory duties; may provide onboarding support to peer content producers or coordinate vendor tasks as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Related work experience

  • Knowledge of computers and competency in a variety of software.
    Required: Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
    Helpful: SmartSheets or scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, AI prompting tools.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in various stages.
  • Strong organizational, efficiency, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to exercise diplomacy.
  • Ability to reconcile and validate information across multiple sources.
  • Foundational understanding of product management and scheduling.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project support (Approx. 45%)

  • Move projects forward by proactively identifying next steps, maintaining schedules, and coordinating task owners.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute updates on task status.
  • Reconcile information across documents, systems, and stakeholder inputs to ensure aligned project data.
  • Track progress across multiple concurrent running projects.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve routine production issues; escalate as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, metadata, and version control.
  • Collaborate with peers to keep group workflows running smoothly

Vendor and Partner Support (Approx. 25%)

  • Assist with vendor onboarding and communication.
  • Request project quotes from vendors; create purchase requisitions when hiring project team.
  • Post project and video files for vendors.
  • Regularly review vendor progress and review quality.
  • Coordinate file distribution, status checks, and return deliverables.
  • Support quality checks on vendor-produced content.
  • Consolidate and communicate updates, questions, and issues to project leads.

Production and Content Review (Approx. 20%)

  • Ensure content is aligned with templates, style guidelines, and presentation requirements.
  • Check content against source files to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Review course materials for functionality, including verifying links, interactive elements, embedded media, and platform compatibility.
  • Maintain data accuracy in Oracle systems to ensure correct product availability, support revenue enablement, and downstream operational accuracy.
  • Deliver final files to archives and downstream teams.

Cross-Functional & Ad Hoc Support (Approx. 10%)

  • Assist with tasks for Customer Support and Partner teams.
  • Support emerging workflows as assigned.
  • Provide backup support for team members during absences.
