Job Description

Role Purpose

Ensure error‑free product launches by applying robust designs, quality standards, and stable, capable processes across the entire supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Customer Requirements

  • Apply customer quality requirements — including special characteristics and traceability — within the CAPM/APQP framework.
  • Verify that engineering and production samples meet SAFE Sample and customer‑specific requirements.
  • Prepare and submit PPAP documentation, ensuring alignment with all approved changes.
  • Ensure PSW (Part Submission Warrant) is approved before the start of production.

Process & Risk Management

  • Support design and manufacturing functions during all stages of the CAPM process; participate in stage‑gate and program reviews.
  • Identify program risks using PFMEA, past concerns, and lessons learned.
  • Contribute to the creation and deployment of Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
  • Lead and coordinate Product Launch Quality Reviews (PLQR) and related improvement plans (PLQIP).

Launch Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Train, implement, monitor, and close activities related to the Initial Mass Production Quality Plan (SAFE LAUNCH)
  • Support problem‑solving activities and ensure timely customer feedback regarding launch concerns.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and support on‑site visits when needed.

Experience & Essential Qualifications

  • University degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced English required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Program Launching.
  • Experience working in a Quality function.
  • Manufacturing process knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications (including GD&T).
  • Experience with ISO/TS 16949 quality systems.
  • Understanding of customer standards and specific requirements.

  • Proficient in analysis tools including MSA, APQP, CAPM.
  • Conducting Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA).
  • Training in Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma.
  • Experience working with warranty data, warranty systems, and resolving warranty-related issues.
