Job Description

Since its spin-off in September 2025 AUMOVIO continues the business of the former Continental group sector Automotive as an independent company. The technology and electronics company offers a wide-ranging portfolio that makes mobility safe, exciting, connected, and autonomous. This includes sensor solutions, displays, braking and comfort systems as well as comprehensive expertise in software, architecture platforms, and assistance systems for software-defined vehicles. In the fiscal year 2024 the business areas, which now belong to AUMOVIO, generated sales of 19.6 billion Euro.   • Achieves best market conditionsActively influences the sourcing process through

    - Early suppier involvement

    - Supplier selection

    - Support on technical review with selected suppliers & internal functions

    - Sourcing decision

    - Bundles the whole demand of Continental Automotive for own category

    - Contribute the purchasing strategy to company product strategy fullContinous Cost reduction- Supports re-design in cost reduction programs

    - Drives improvement programs with suppliers / internal functions fullData maintenance - Ensures in time implementation of correct data in the respective IT-systems. Responsible for monthly controlling and correction of local data and target achievement.

    - Monitoring all the sourcing data in system and close on time.ShareMaterial and Supplier strategy -Supports development of material and supplier strategy

    - Conducts market analysis

    - Drive the strategy definition process with cross-functional partners

    - Ensures that Continentals requirements are reflected in the strategy

    - Documents and implements the strategy in all BUs worldwide

    - Supports GCM with BASE evaluation and creation of the strategic SCFsupportNegotiation- Drives annual negotiations to constantly improve the cost situation of Continental Automotive in case of escelation

    - Negotiates with suppliers

    - Apply negotiation concepts (like Advanced negociation concept) to active support & execute bundling within the respective Category

    - Negotiates non conformance cost with supplierssupport

Qualifications

Education / Certification: University degree in Technical studies or relevant professional experience

Professional Experience:

(Variety of Functions, Variety of Business, General Management Experience)

-Several years of experience in different purchasing functions

Leadership Experience

- Experience in working in international matrix organizations

Intercultural / International Experience:

- Capability to negotiate and operate with different cultures

- Experience in working with international teams on Purchasing issues

- Understanding for different foreign cultures (NAFTA/ Asia, several Europe cultures)
