Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 Base+Commission/year

This is a sales role with purpose, and for motivated professionals, the rewards can be significant. Highly driven Advance Planning Specialists have the opportunity to earn $150,000+ annually through a combination of commissions and performance-based incentives.
Our top performers are strong relationship builders. They communicate with empathy, proactively generate leads using company tools and personal networks, and build referral relationships within the community.
Team members also help maintain safe, welcoming, family-ready facilities while following company standards and local and state regulations.

Qualified applicants will possess a high school diploma (though an associate’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred), along with one year of experience in this or a related area. They must be a licensed insurance agent or have the ability to acquire the necessary licenses. Applicants must enjoy working with people and helping them select from a range of services and merchandise. Basic office and computer skills are a must, and organizational skills and attention to detail are vital to ensure that all arrangements are made to each family’s satisfaction.
Compensation
$20,000 base salary, plus commissions (Range: $50,000 to $100,000+ annually)
Monthly & Annual bonus availability if sales levels are achieved

Our company dates back more than 100 years to 1893 when the Penwell-Gabel funeral home was founded in Topeka.

In 1977 Ren Newcomer, a 4th generation funeral director, purchased Penwell-Gabel and the company has grown consistently through the years. It now consists of 42 funeral homes and cemeteries and over 500 associates. Our funeral homes include the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Homes in Kansas, Dove Cremation & Funeral Service in Topeka, Kansas and the Newcomer Funeral Homes in Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Wyoming and Wisconsin.
