Job Location: Adult Residential Admin - Birmingham, AL 35242
Position Type: Full TimeThe Adult Services Residential Coordinator oversees and supports residential programs for adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with operational standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. This role supervises direct care staff, ensures the implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), and fosters an inclusive and supportive environment aligned with the organization’s core values: Community, Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, and Communication.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise and support direct care staff, ensuring adherence to established procedures and quality standards.
- Oversee the implementation of ISPs to promote personal growth and independence for residents.
- Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards for residential programs.
- Monitor the physical condition of residential homes, arranging maintenance as necessary.
- Facilitate effective communication between families, guardians, and treatment teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports on resident progress and program operations.
- Assist in budget management and resource allocation for assigned residential programs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of management experience in residential or developmental disability services.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable through the organization’s insurance carrier.
- Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and crisis management techniques required (or ability to obtain).
