The University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. The appointees will have outpatient responsibilities for the care of a range of psychiatric disorders, such as mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in General Psychiatry, and 4) have residency training in Adult Psychiatry.
We especially welcome applicants familiar with outpatient clinical work and open to developing intensive outpatient programs as well as interventional psychiatry and/or forensic experience.
