We are seeking a full-time Adult Psychiatrist to join a behavioral health hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina This role offers a flexible mix of inpatient and outpatient (IOP/PHP) work, competitive compensation, and strong clinical support—allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care within a collaborative, recovery-focused environment.
Employment Type: Full-time (independent contractor or employed option available)
Schedule / Hours: Flexible inpatient and outpatient mix
Call: Optional paid call and weekend shifts. No mandatory weekend call.
Patient Volume: Manageable adult caseload
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Practice Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry & Outpatient (IOP/PHP)
Support / Care Team: Psychiatrists, Therapists, Nursing, Case Management, Support Staff
Provide psychiatric care to adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and admission assessments
Develop and lead individualized treatment plans
Manage daily patient care, documentation, and discharge planning
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a recovery-oriented setting

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Adult / General Psychiatry
Active or eligible North Carolina medical license
