Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Shift Supervisor to join our Adult Inpatient TeamYou will play a crucial role in supervising and supporting Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to ensure the smooth operation of our inpatient units. Your responsibilities will include hiring and supervising BHTs, conducting ongoing assessments of milieu acuity and client risk, organizing staffing per shift, overseeing client admissions, facilitating therapeutic programming, and conducting regular chart audits.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:
LICENSURE: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration
Preferred Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health field.
EXPERIENCE:1 year experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
Relevant experience working in residential or inpatient treatment setting

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment Frequent mobility and/or sitting required for extended periods.
Mental/Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, ascend and descend stairs, talk or listen and lift up to 50 pounds. Peripheral vision is also required for this position.
