The Department of Health is seeking an Adult Day Centre Assistant for the King Island Hospital & Community Health Centre. Join a close-knit team at the King Island Adult Day Centre, where you'll assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities under the supervision of the Adult Day Centre supervisor. This permanent role focuses on creating engaging, individualized activities for clients while meeting Aged Care Quality Standards. The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. Additionally, it provides community health, mental health, and primary healthcare services to the Tasmanian community through more than 300 sites.

Fixed term, part time, day worker position, working 6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join us until 9 November 2026.

$68,854 to $73,947 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
