This role sits within a high-impact, cross-functional team working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Commercial stakeholders to maximize advertiser performance and platform revenue.

You will own the strategy and evolution of key advertising optimization components, including CTR/CVR prediction, ranking, bidding, budget pacing, and auction mechanisms. The role offers the opportunity to solve complex challenges at scale, influence the future direction of our advertising products, and directly impact campaign performance, revenue growth, and user experience.

This is an ideal position for someone who combines deep expertise in advertising systems with strong leadership and a passion for building scalable optimization solutions.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of core advertising systems, including ranking, CTR/CVR prediction, bidding, auction, and budget pacing mechanisms.

  • Define and drive the ranking strategy to improve campaign performance, advertiser ROI/ROAS, user engagement, and platform revenue.

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to identify opportunities and translate business objectives into scalable optimization solutions.

  • Drive experimentation and continuous improvement through A/B testing, performance analysis, and model evaluation.

  • Analyze marketplace dynamics and optimize trade-offs across advertiser value, user experience, and monetization goals.

  • Guide the development and deployment of machine learning models supporting campaign delivery, conversion optimization, and ad relevance.

  • Monitor and improve online serving performance in high-concurrency, real-time bidding (RTB) environments.

  • Establish key performance metrics and frameworks to evaluate ranking quality, auction efficiency, and campaign outcomes.

  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineers and cross-functional stakeholders on advertising optimization best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising technology, machine learning, ranking systems, recommendation systems, search, or related domains.

  • Strong understanding of advertising ecosystems, including CTR/CVR prediction, ranking, auction design, bidding strategies, budget pacing, and performance optimization.

  • Experience working with large-scale machine learning systems and online serving environments.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify optimization opportunities, and drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Solid programming and technical foundation with experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.

  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies, experimentation frameworks, and performance measurement.

  • Proven ability to balance technical excellence with commercial objectives in a fast-paced environment.
