The Emerald Team in our people’s service is looking for an Adolescent support worker. The Emerald team works with young people who are vulnerable to child exploitation or at risk of going missing. The role of an Adolescent support worker is to build relationships with young people and families to understand their needs, provide targeted support, strengthen resilience, and reduce risks to prevent the need for specialist services. The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 4 qualification or possess equivalent substantial experience within a relevant field. They will demonstrate proven experience of effectively engaging with children and young people, alongside a strong understanding of the risks and indicators associated with exploitation.
