TASC Outpatient Services is seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and responsive Admissions Specialist & Administrative Assistant to join our Columbus team.
This position plays an important role in helping individuals access outpatient substance use disorder and behavioral health services. As one of the first points of contact for prospective clients and families, you will help make the admissions process welcoming, efficient, and easy to navigate while also providing administrative support to the outpatient program.

You understand that reaching out for treatment can be difficult, and you know how to make people feel welcomed, respected, and supported from their very first interaction.
You are organized, responsive, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to work collaboratively across admissions, clinical, medical, billing, business development, and operations.
What Success Looks Like
Success means prospective clients receive timely, compassionate, and accurate support from referral through admission. Referrals are followed up on quickly, documentation is complete, appointments are coordinated efficiently, internal teams stay informed, and barriers to accessing outpatient treatment are addressed as quickly as possible.

Work Conditions
This is an on-site position in an outpatient behavioral health setting. The role requires regular sitting, standing, walking, computer and telephone use, and frequent interaction with clients, families, employees, and community partners.
The employee must be able to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
