Job Description

• Join a high-performing Admissions team and help shape the educational journeys of future UWA students.
• Play a pivotal role in assessing applications and delivering an exceptional student experience from application through to offer.
• Full-time (1 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
• Base salary range: Level 5, $86,540 – $95,220 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The Directorate of Student Success and Progression sits within UWA's Education Portfolio and plays a critical role in delivering a world-class student experience. The Directorate supports students across the entire lifecycle, from admission and enrolment through to graduation, partnering with academic and professional teams across the University to drive student success, retention and progression.

Within the Directorate, the Admissions team is responsible for attracting and admitting high-quality domestic and international students through efficient, student-focused admissions processes that support the University's strategic goals. Based in a collaborative and service-oriented environment, the team helps prospective students take their first step into higher education at UWA

About the opportunity

• Assess and process domestic and international undergraduate and postgraduate applications, from application review through to offer generation and issuance.
• Evaluate academic qualifications, calculate GPAs, assess English language proficiency, and verify the authenticity of supporting documentation.
• Provide high-quality advice and support to applicants, academic staff, and key stakeholders while contributing to the continuous delivery of efficient admissions services.

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a complex administrative environment, with strong attention to detail and highly developed numerical reasoning skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in high-volume processing environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide professional advice and respond to complex enquiries.
• Knowledge of domestic and international education systems and qualification frameworks, together with strong digital literacy across business systems and Microsoft Office applications.
