We are looking for two Admissions Officers to join our Admissions team at our Bourke Street Campus in Melbourne CBD. These are fantastic opportunities for organised, detail-focused people who enjoy working with students, managing applications and being part of a busy, collaborative education environment.

As an Admissions Officer, you will play an important role in supporting prospective students through the admissions process – assessing applications, issuing admissions documentation and providing accurate and timely information to students, education agents and internal teams.

Job Description

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Admissions Manager, you'll be part of a collaborative Admissions team responsible for helping applications progress accurately and efficiently from initial assessment through to enrolment.

You'll assess applications against admission requirements, prepare and issue relevant documentation and work closely with students, education agents and teams across Acknowledge Education.

This is a role where accuracy matters, but so does the experience you create along the way. You'll need to be comfortable balancing multiple priorities, responding to enquiries and working within established policies and regulatory requirements.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will:

• Assess student applications against entry and admissions requirements
• Prepare and issue Letters of Offer
• Assess Genuine Student Requirement (GSR) applications in line with AE policies and procedures
• Issue Confirmations of Enrolment (CoEs) in accordance with ESOS requirements
• Provide clear and timely information to prospective and current students
• Respond to enquiries via phone, email and in person
• Work closely with education agents and other external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate student information and records while respecting privacy and confidentiality
• Collaborate with Student Services, Student Recruitment, Marketing, academic teams and other areas across AE
• Support broader campus initiatives, events and activities that contribute to a positive student experience.

Qualifications

About You

You'll enjoy this role if you're someone who likes keeping things moving, takes pride in getting the details right and genuinely enjoys helping people navigate processes that may be unfamiliar to them.

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience in admissions, student administration or a similar role
• Experience assessing student applications against entry or admissions requirements
• Knowledge of the Australian international education environment
• An understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, including ESOS and the National Code
• Experience using student management, admissions or CRM systems
• Strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and a high-volume workload.
