Isaiah House is looking for a dedicated and driven person to take on the role of Admissions Logistics Transporation Specialist for Pike County. This role will operate on a part-time as needed basis.

JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

  • Safely and efficiently transport clients from various locations (homes, hospitals, facilities, etc.) to designated treatment locations
  • Maintain consistent communication with the admissions team regarding transport status and updates
  • Report all pertinent information in real time through the driver communication system during each shift/transport
  • Select the safest, most direct, and legally compliant routes; identify alternate routes when necessary
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal traffic regulations
  • Report any delays, incidents, or accidents immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicle
  • Provide a welcoming, respectful, and professional experience for all clients during transport
  • Perform occasional errands or additional support tasks as needed
  • Uphold and comply with the organization’s drug-free workplace policy
  • Availability is based on client need and is not guaranteed
  • Must be willing to accept transport requests with flexibility and timeliness
  • Demonstrate a servant-hearted approach when assisting clients entering treatment
  • Maintain professionalism and reliability despite variable scheduling

*Vehicle requests, acquisition, and usage will be determined and explained at a later date with the company if hired.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must meet insurance requirements (minimum age 22)
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience driving passenger vans (including 12–15 passenger vehicles) preferred
  • Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
  • Willingness to be available on an as-needed basis, including evenings or weekends

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Adheres to Isaiah House policies and procedures.
  • Attends mandatory in-services and other training/educational programs as required.
  • Current CPR and First Aid
