Salary:$55,000–$85,000 per year (based on experience)

We're looking for a compassionate, organized, and relationship-driven Admissions Director to be the welcoming face of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. In this role, you'll help residents and families navigate the admission process while building strong partnerships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and community referral sources.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Admissions Department.
  • Coordinate the admissions process from referral through resident arrival, ensuring a smooth, positive experience for residents and families.
  • Work closely with nursing leadership to evaluate referrals and ensure appropriate admissions.
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain required financial and medical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate bed availability and coordinate room assignments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely communication and seamless resident transitions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, case managers, and discharge planners to increase referrals and support occupancy goals.
  • Represent the facility at networking events, community outreach programs, health fairs, and educational events.
  • Educate referral sources and prospective residents on the services our facility provides.
  • Complete admission paperwork and ensure compliance with all facility, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in daily leadership meetings and contribute to census development strategies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of resident and protected health information (HIPAA).
  • Support additional admissions, marketing, and special projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years working in Admissions/Marketing in a Long Term Care/ Rehab setting
  • Experience in admissions, healthcare marketing, business development, or long-term care preferred.
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing, rehabilitation, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance verification processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams and referral partners.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional, compassionate, and service-oriented approach.
