
The Admissions Counselor plays a dual role supporting both the outreach and enrollment efforts of the university. This position is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and qualified applicant pool, while also managing the end-to-end application review and processing workflow. Serving as an admissions counselor with a focus on undergraduate, Masters, and PhD programs, this individual provides personalized guidance to prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment.

Four years of general office or secretarial experience; OR
An Associate’s degree or certificate in office occupations or office technology and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR
A Bachelor’s degree and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual communication tools.
Valid Driver’s License
Experience with both recruitment and application processing in a university setting.
Knowledge of best practices in holistic application review and student engagement.
Familiarity with a specific student population (e.g., transfer, international, nursing, first-gen).
Bilingual or multilingual abilities
