Job Location: Wake Forest, NC 27587
Position Type: Part TimeCoordinate and facilitate the admissions process for prospective and incoming EdD students under the supervision of the Director of EdD Studies, working alongside the other office personnel in administering the daily operations of the Office of EdD Studies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer phone, e-mails, and other daily correspondence as needed for personal and office emails.
- - Coordination of Admissions Responsibilities:

- - - Answer, track, and process all prospective student inquiries
- - - Track inquiries and applicants on weekly statistical reports
- - - Manage points of contact and development of recruiting strategy alongside the Director
- - - Keep up to date on accreditation standards and assist in Accreditation Standards
- - - Assist the Communication Office in editing and maintaining the SEBTS EdD website and other promotional material to advertise general cohort and special cohorts.
- - - Handle, process, and evaluate all EdD applications and application materials on Slate and in EdD filing system
- - - Assist applicants with the application on Slate and with the admissions process
- - - Prepare and evaluate application files for the EdD Committee Application Review
- - - Document, compile, and send acceptance and denial letters on Slate and in EdD files
- - - Matriculate students that are accepted
- - - Offer academic advising meetings involving the creation of customized program plans and orienting students to program policies

- Assist Associate Director of EdD Studies in scheduling active student and prospective student meetings.
- - Assist EdD Director and office staff in the preparation of semesterly reports
- - Assist with EdD Graduation alongside the Administrative Assistant.
- - Create and Maintain web-based forms
- - Project, track, and encourage student enrollment in statical reports and through email reminders.
- - Assist in editing the EdD Student Handbook, EdD Student Resources documents, and course catalog.
- - Advise active students on course scheduling, EdD policies, and program expectations.
- - Assist Administrative Assistant in planning, preparation, and hosting of quarterly EdD Seminar Week on campus.
OTHER DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES
- Any other duties as requested by the Associate Director of EdD Studies
- - Assist the Associate Director in production of EdD communication as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- No supervisory responsibilities
- - No authority to hire or terminate employees
QualificationsRequired:
- Ability to use extensively Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to use Excel to report statistics
- People skills on phone and e-mail
- Ability to take initiative and work independently

- Knowledge of when to involve the Director and/or Associate Director of EdD Studies concerning issues of policy
- Knowledge of Higher Education Accreditation guidelines, process, and reporting
- Knowledge of Intranet (CampusNet and Business Portal)
- Knowledge of PowerCampus Student and transcript information, course section listings
- Knowledge of JotForm.
- Knowledge of Zoom.
- Knowledge of Concur Expense.
- Knowledge of Slate (Online application).
- Knowledge of EdD program procedures (desirable).
- Knowledge of EdD program structure (desirable).
