Our location in Culver, Indiana is on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee, Culver Academies encompasses 1,800 acres of green hills and woodlands, and a historic collegiate-like campus with beautiful Gothic buildings and architecture.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Summer Camp Admissions Coordinator assists with the overall application process and enrollment of 1400 new and returning campers each year, as well as supporting the additional staff that is brought in to supervise the campers. Responsibilities include communicating with parents, verifying accurate completion of camper applications, processing financial aid requests, ensuring proper processing of deposits and tuition payments, giving campus tours, and assembling appropriate marketing items to be sent to prospective patrons. In addition, they will support Culver Summer Schools and Camps Counselors during camp as directed by the Summer School Director.
REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must possess a high school diploma/GED. Specialized courses in business practices and office administration are preferred. 3 years of general office work experience is desired. An understanding of Culver Summer Schools and Camps operations is preferred. They will possess the ability to write and edit effectively, will be able to communicate with tact and diplomacy, can work effectively within every level of the school, must have highly developed interpersonal skills, must be a self-starter, must be computer proficient with exceptional data entry skills, must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work under pressure of many priorities and deadlines. Spanish speaking language skills are highly desired.
