Admissions Coordinator

Full‑Time | Martinsville, IN

As an Admissions Coordinator at our Martinsville, Indiana location, you will play a key role in supporting patient access to care. This position is responsible for coordinating admissions and discharges, verifying benefits, and supporting intake and referral processes to ensure a smooth and compassionate experience for patients and families entering treatment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of intake or admissions experience preferred, ideally in behavioral healthcare
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining referral relationships and networking strategies
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • COVID‑19 vaccination or approved exemption, per policy

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate admissions and discharges for patients
  • Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
  • Assist with utilization review by supporting billing coordination with the corporate office
  • Coordinate and collect co‑pays, deductibles, and other patient fees at admission, during treatment, or at discharge
  • Assist with arranging patient payment plans as needed
  • Serve as a liaison to patients regarding insurance benefits and coverage
  • Schedule and complete admission assessments and required documentation
  • Support performance improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
