Medical Hill Healthcare Center is seeking an organized, customer-focused Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating patient admissions, and ensuring a smooth transition for residents and their families.
As the Admissions Coordinator, you'll serve as an important liaison between hospitals, referral sources, residents, families, and our interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the admissions process from referral through resident admission.
Communicate with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and referral partners.
Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary admission documentation.
Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
Maintain relationships with referral sources and assist with census development.
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and administrative staff to ensure seamless admissions.
Ensure all admission paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the admission process.
Qualifications
Previous admissions, healthcare marketing, case management, or customer service experience preferred.
Experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting is highly desirable.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented.
Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and referral partners.
